Freddie

Freddie came to us a few years ago, he is a sensitive and frightened little soul and because of this like many dogs he can become aggressively defensive when in new situations.  We have tried to re-home him on a couple of occassions and despite the best efforts of his prospective new families he bit.   Following the last attempt at re-homing we made the decision that kennels is now his "Home Sweet Home" and he is no longer looking for a new one.  A life in kennels may not sound much fun to you but Freddie is now 12 years old and is very settled and happy in kennels.  The routine reassures his frightened nature, he is relaxed and comfortable with everyone there and therefore has never felt the need to bite, at his age we feel it would be unfair of us to put him through the stress of a home environment when he is perfectly happy where he is.

He gets lots of love and attention from the kennel staff who now regard him as one of the family, walks curtsey of SYESSR Trustees and volunteers and just recently has been enjoying sessions at the Swim Gym to ensure he gets the Stimulation he needs.

Like the rest of the Springers in rescue he is just loving the snow, its hard work for us but they just love frolicking around in it.  Its just wonderful to watch them.
